Basic Fish Curry – prep time is 45mins

 7 Slices of Fish
 Whole garlic – 6 Pieces
 1 Large Onion Sliced
 2 Tin Tomato Puree
 4 Green Chillies
 Tamarind (seedless)
 2 Tbsp Mixed Masala
 Salt to taste
 ¼ Cup Oil
 Dhania to garnish
 Whole Spice (1 tsp methi seeds, ½ tsp mustard seeds, ½ tsp jeera, ½ tsp soomph, curry leaves, few dry chillies-break in halves)

Fry all whole spice until brown (do not let it burn)

Allow to cool, then grind into powder

Add oil to heated pot

Add Onions and ground spices – until brown

Then add all the tomato puree, green chillies and salt

Add masala and leave for 2mins

Then add whole garlic and place fish firmly in the pot – leave for 5 to 7mins

Lastly add 1 cup tamarind water – leave for another 5mins on medium heat
